Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Malta: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, several Navigation and Maps applications stood out on the iOS platform in Malta. Here's a look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent download pattern throughout the quarter. Starting with 369 downloads in the first week of January, the app experienced fluctuations, peaking at 455 in mid-March.

Google Maps maintained a steady presence, with weekly downloads beginning at 358 and oscillating around the 300 mark throughout the quarter.

Google Earth had a more modest performance, with weekly downloads ranging from 80 to 117, showing slight variations.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar displayed interesting trends. It started with only 7 downloads in early January but saw a significant increase, reaching 55 downloads towards the end of March. Revenue for this app varied, with peaks at $56 mid-January and $32 in mid-March.

Finally, TM Alert had sporadic downloads, with occasional weeks of zero activity. The highest recorded was 24 downloads in the first week of January.
